Personal Notes:

After graduating, I accepted a 5th grade position at Ocotillo Elementary in the Washington School District in Phoenix, AZ. It is there that I managed a classroom to meet the needs of a variety of students including gifted, LD, and ESL in a transient and low socio-economic area. I also had the opportunity become a school peer mediation trainer and supervisor. After teaching at Ocotillo Elementary for four years, I decided to stay home with my growing family.

After spending fourteen glorious years with my three children, I eased back into the teaching profession by substitute teaching in the Oswego School District for three years. It is there I acquired and was able to implement teaching strategies such as Daily Five. I am truly blessed to have been able to teach at Holy Cross for the past five years. I love sharing my faith with my students and I am honored to be able to guide my students through the preparation of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
