This is my fourteenth year of teaching. I taught second grade for one year, a first/second split for two years, and ten years in first grade all in the Elgin U-46 School District. I was blessed to make the switch to Holy Cross this year as a first grade teacher. I love that I now have the opportunity to share the love of God and my faith with the wonderful students of Holy Cross.
I grew up as a member of St. Peter Damian Church in Bartlett where I made all of my sacraments, was a cantor at mass, and helped with their First Communion masses. Five years ago we made the change to become parishioners of Holy Cross Catholic Church. My husband Dan and I live in Batavia with our son, Ethan, and daughter, Brynlee, who both attend Holy Cross Catholic School. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children in their various activities, going on vacation, and visiting baseball stadiums.
